update

I'm not really in a writing mood so much, so here's a brief update on whats been going down.

Last weekend was fun times, dive hoping on Friday night with the homies, HAMMERED. Also Shawn and I went to the spillways behind lower lake to paint, ended up having to hide from a park ranger for like twenty minutes. That was fun, just like the good ole days. Later that same day Danny's jeep got slammed into by some broad while parked in front of Jim's house, it was bad. At least her car was, DC's Jeep had minimal damage. Uhhh work was hard this week, hella long days every day.

My mom got her disability which is a relief...

Saw Avatar last night. Amazing.

Turn around shootin at the monster till his knees are weak

Well, as unbelievable as it may sound, the state of California denied my mom's disability claim, over a mistake on the form, she now has to appeal...in front of a judge. We have tried to call these fucking people everyday for weeks, each time we're or sent off on an endless automated loop of bullshit only to eventually receive a message telling us that they've reached the maximum amount of calls they can take a day. These people are criminals, humanity is skin deep. These government people, whoever the fuck they are...they do this subtle conniving shit to rip people off and get away with it, everyday. Id like to meet the guy who decided that being in a coma for two weeks and layed up in the hospital for a month isn't enough to get you disability, id like to meet him and then knock his fuckin teeth out. So anyway, the house payment is due on Friday and my mom has no money. Soo I'll be paying all 1500 dollars of that, which eventually I will get back, but I'm about to be buying my tickets to Morocco soon, and it just hurts to take such a chunk of change out of my savings account when all I've done since I started the account is add to it. That's the way it goes I guess.

So this weekend was nice, Friday we went out to the Shattuck Down Low and checked out this random reggae band, they were alright. Nice venue tho. Saturday I helped out my neighbor Rob with some painting at his house, which was cool we painted but we mostly blazed, drank beer, and laughed at dumb shit. Later that night I ended up going to another reggae show at Sweet Fingers in San Leandro, which is a Jamaican bar I never knew about...anyway these guys were great and we hung out with them after the show and chopped it up for a bit. They told us a bunch of stories, everything sounds cool in that accent. Anyway, I wanna go to Negril, Jamaica some day "ders a party on da beach der everynight mon". The next day Jimbo and I shot out to Hollister Hills and throttled down in his Toyota for a bit. 4-wheelin is always a good time.

anyway, I'm thinking about finally making a facebook.

I dont feel like im falling

Because I'm so high.

Amy and I are going to Morocco at the end of May, possibly Egypt? FUCK I'm excited for that. My moms home and getting better everyday. I'm on the brink of a lovely Thanksgiving, five day weekend with plenty to be thankful for. On Friday Jimmy and I might roll out to Pismo Beach for some four-wheelin dune mobbin good times.

This morning I noticed that at some point last night someone backed into my car, there is certainly a healthy new notch in the bumper...at first I was really mad, it doesn't look to nice but it doesn't matter...I'll fix it eventually. I spent like three hours today cleaning my room, that doesn't happen often...I found like 11 lighters.

this is all over the place.

goodnight.

::insert creative title here::

I haven't posted anything for a while. Not much has changed, its just been work then visit with Moms at the hospital everyday. She is getting better, but the doctor informed us this morning that its going to be a long road to recovery because her lungs are damaged. Patience is a virtue that I'm running thin on, though I know were gonna get there.

This weekend was alright, Friday a bunch of us went out to downtown San Mateo to celebrate Amy's birthday, nothing to extravagant but we had a good time. Halloween night was fun, Halloween fucking rules, it always has. I did notice that there weren't that many kids out trick or treating this year which is sorta sad, its a dying holiday, when I have kids I'm bringing that shit back. Anyway we all ended up at this house party out in Livermore it was a drunken good time, which I really needed. Some of the highlights include: Zac falling backwards out of a wheelchair about four times, Codes getting his ghetto onesy ripped off, and Shawn puking out DC's van while driving home on the freeway.

Well, I guess its off to Eden Hospital again...I hate that place, hospitals suck the life out of you, but I gotta go visit for a while. After that Amy and I are gonna run various errands then screw around with the food dehydrator I got her for her birthday.

Later.

out of the woods.

We made it, my Mom's condition has greatly improved, shes awake now and tomorrow their thinking they may be able to turn off the breathing machine. Good fucking news. Let me just take this time to let out a huge sigh of relief....At the beginning of this week things were, well uncertain and very scary, God I cant even imagine what id do if I lost my mom at 24, I don't even want to think about it.

In other also good news I went to court for that fireworks bull shit and it got reduced to an infraction and I have to pay a fine of 250 dollars. I got off hella easy, because I rule. Life rules, it throws curve balls, but it makes us stronger.

bla

Mom's in the hospital. Hooked up to a machine that breathes for her, she has an infection in her lungs and untill they can drain it all out she is to remain in pretty much a medically induced coma. It sounds so bad when I write it, but they tell me that they expect her to make a full recovery it just takes time...

The waiting is hard, and just feeling sorta powerless...Deep down I feel like she is gonna be ok, I really do, but of course im scared, becuase while the doctor says he expects a full recovery this is a serious thing. Shes stable tho, and im told repsonding well to what they are doing, so far so good. Its just gonna be kind of a rough week, its gonna be ok tho.

...

So, my sister just took my mom to the hospital, she has really bad asthma and the flu right now, those two things combined have made it impossible for her to sleep for the last four days and she can barely breathe. I'm worried, naturally, but this has happened before tho, at the hospital they can give her steroids or something to open her lungs so she can breathe easier, she'll be fine...

Honestly tho, she's not healthy and its time she does something about it. Shes waaaay overweight and its just getting worse, and her boyfriend David is a great dude but he's an enabler, he always cooks the saltiest worst food she can have and she cant say no. I'm almost positive her weight is a factor in her breathing problem and her bad knee, its a hard thing to tell her tho because it can be a sensitive subject. Point is, she needs to make a preemptive strike before its to late to reverse this.

So now I just sit and wait for a phone call from Tara to let me know whats going on.

On a brighter note: Halloween Haunt at Great America last night was a good time.

The Capitol Wasteland

My xbox wont stop freezing, needless to say I pretty much wanna huck it into traffic. If this one goes I'll be on my third, fucking Microsoft.

Anyway, on Monday I was thinking I really needed to wash my car, then on Tuesday it rained like hell, nature washed my car for me. You win some you lose some. This coming Monday I'll be returning to court for my lovely fireworks fiasco this last July 4th. Hopefully the fine isn't outrageous, but I predict I'll most likely get raped on that.

I still think fireworks rule.

God grant me wings im too fly not to fly

Fleet week is awesome, I love fighter jets. These guys fly within inches of each other at like 700 miles an hour, not to mention all the barrel rolls and insane banks they were busting. We had the sickest spot to watch from to, right up front on our own little dock, Shawn, Zac, DC, myself and a bottle of Snack Daniels. After the show we ran around Frisco for several more hours and pretty much just got drunker. Anyway, today I don't feel like doing anything, but unfortunately everyone is home today, on my one day that I get the house to myself. I really need to move out of here, but funds just aren't what they need to be yet for that. So anyway I'll probably go for a little bike ride or something. This post sucked

SINtas

Alright, don't get me wrong, working for Cintas has been mostly a rewarding experience...but its becoming more and more apparent to me that this is a big corporation, and big corporations are pretty much evil. So every year they give everyone a chance to change around some of their benefits/dependents options, this year I wasn't planing on changing anything, come to find out they are going to be throwing an extra $2.50 charge for medical to anyone who registers as a tobacco user. Now, I don't smoke, so actually this little extra charge makes sense to me...The problem is that if anyone fails to register as a non-smoker by the deadline they automatically get defaulted to smoker and get charged the extra money each paycheck. What kinda shit is that? That doesnt even make sense, its like their just hoping that people will be negligent, which I'm sure many people will, so that they can squeeze extra money out of their employees. That shits fucking crooked. I know its only $2.50 but its the principle of the thing.

Shit, further more the fuckin blinker on my truck has been out for over a month and they still have made no moves to fix it, yet its still mandatory that at the end of every week I fill out a form to let them know any issues with my truck...nothing ever gets done.

This was a boring post.

life is eventfull

Which is why I finally decided to get myself a blog, when im fifty years old feeling nastalgic these will be the "good old days" i'll be thinking about. So, I guess i'll start this first post with the events of this weekend.

Saturday was Lovefest, if you dont know about this event, you're really missing out...this year was my first time...probably like a hundred thousand crazy people of all makes and models(a lot of which are half or full on naked) all gathered at the Civic Center in San Francisco, all of this is surrounded by five different stages that are pretty much 18-Wheeler trailers with hella decorations, hella dancing people, dj's, and hella fucking speakers...The drum and bass stage is the one tho...Anyway, I got out to the city around noon and met up with Reggie, his girl Danielle, and Register's little sister Devin. Before going in we wandered the city for a bit in search of liquor and a bathroom for the ladies, we found all that, and hit the MASSIVE line to get in. This "line" was a clusterfuck and barely inching along, this was alright because it gave me time to finish my forty and play "smoke that bowl". We finally got in and realized pretty quick that it was gonna be impossible to find Cody and Dustin who we were supposed to meet in there somewhere. Anyway, we checked out some stages, bought some drinks and just looked at all the crazies. At one point I witnessed this broad climb on top of a row of portapottys to dance, which she did, but eventually she feel through the roof of one probably on someone using it. That shit was hilarious. So after a couple hours DC, Shawn and Zac came out and by chance actually found us in the midst of everything. So were all hangin around the drum and bass stage and Zac points out that this guy in front of him looks like he's about to steal the guy in front of him's camera thats attached to his belt. I checked him out and sure as shit he was eyeballin that camera, a couple of times it looked like he might even make his move but something would spook him and he'd stop. I kept on watching him for a bit and he got real close to the guy with the camera and went for it, so before he could get his hands on it I ran up and pretended to accidentally bump into him hell hard, then I told the would be victim what was going on, I'm not sure if he believed me or not. The scumbag shot some daggers at us and left. I'm a vigilante bitches. After lovefest started wrapping up a bunch of us went back to Dustin and Cody's hotel in the city, where a whole lot more debauchery and laughs went down. Eventually Zac, Shawn and I hit BART back to San Leandro. When we got back we went and got some food and called it a night.

Sunday, Sausage and Suds festivle in San Leandro, good food, good beer, and good people, which weighed out the really bad live music. Zac and I ended up getting a ride there with Shawn's mom since she was working one of the booths anyway. We got there met up with Jeremy and started drinkin and eatin. Thats pretty much how the day went down. Ryan and DC came out as well, and we ran into some old high school buddies. So after a few hours there a bunch of us jumped in Ryan's car and headed to his house to kick back a while. Well on the way home Ryan decided to try and be a stunt driver and approached a sharp "s" turn at about fifty miles an hour, the first part of the turn was executed well, the second part we slid sideways into a curb at about forty...Scary, but also pretty fuckin funny, Ryan was pissed, but thats what he gets for being a jack ass. His rim has a good chunk missing and im willing to bet he's got some alignment issues now. Later Zac, Shawn and I got a ride with Billy out to Dublin where we met Aaron, Matt, and Andrew and saw the movie Zombieland, which had its moments, not bad...

Today was chill, I love having Mondays off. I chilled back with Jeremy and dropped my car off at the shop to get an exhaust leak fixed...i'll be mobbin grandpop's truck to work in the morning...So on another note, Amy and I were talking about whats gonna happen in the event that she has to go to grad school far away, perhaps even out of state. At first I wasn't really feelin the idea..but that may or may not happen and the idea of randomly up and moving to a place like Chicago, which is a possibility, is kind of exciting. Could be some bad ass times, and it would only be for a year or two...obviously some adjustments and sacrifices would have to be made, i'd do it for her. We'll see what happens. Anyway, that's all for now its time for bed, the grind begins again tomorrow at 5am. Peace.
